Meet
Matt Lindquist

Matt grew up in Hayward, Wisconsin, and went to college at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. While there, he met Emily, who would eventually become his wife. After graduating with a degree in Finance, he worked in both residential and commercial property management.

Matt and Emily decided to move to Madison because they love the area and the communities surrounding it. He enjoys being active outdoors and in his community. Matt and Emily also have a beagle named Harper. In his free time, Matt enjoys scuba diving and hiking.

 

As a child, he always had an interest in starting a business. At 11 years old, he started selling firewood on Facebook to make extra money. As he entered high school, Matt began an e-commerce business, called Midwest Oaks. While Midwest Oaks started as a small gift shop, Matt began selling funeral products in the middle of 2019. Today, he sells those products across 10 different countries and all 50 states.
